"On the 24th of December, 1995, I lost my sensation in my lower body, my health and my job due to a car crash. In 1997, I had a sore in my buttock. It got worse in 1998 and since then I had to lie on my stomach in bed to read, write, wash my face and eat. Thus were my days and nights for about one year and 3 months! My situation was getting worse and I got a fever of 41 degrees. It was then when Jesus saved me from death with his loving hands. He chose my mother and I. We were baptized on the 25th of December, 1999: '........ a bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out' (Isaiah 42:3). With the blessing of the Lord's grace, my sore was getting better and my legs were becoming fat but I still can't stand or walk.
