Internet Ministry Technical Officer |
Responsibilities
- Report to the internet ministry team leader and provide support in the design,
development and maintenance of web-related software applications.
- Conduct research, experiments, and analysis on internet-related tools and software.
- Generation of functional and design specifications for and supervise development
of web-related software applications.
- May also need to provide assistance in other areas of internet ministry.
The post is located in Hong Kong.
Qualifications / requirements
- University graduate or diploma in Computer Science or related disciplines.
- 2 - 3 years experience in Perl, VB.NET, Linux administration, Apache web server,
PHP, Javascript, HTML, and MySQL. Knowledge in XML, Flash ActionScript, and shell scripts a plus.
- Solid experience in inter-platform operation between Windows and Linux.
- Meticulous, responsible, thorough; able to work independently.
- Familiar with website design and operation.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
